The future is visual blogging

There is such a gap in the way we use the Internet right now visually. Either our webpages are static with user initiated actions or single event animations like flash or animated GIF. I don't see any real effort to combine, synchronize, and orchestrate all the media elements at our disposal. This orchestration is what I call the Web Media Performance.

Below is a visual blog example of what I mean. The performance is timed with different events like balloons, HTML and video containers, etc. A full blown performance can have many different shaped containers with any media element included.
